Return Policy

At Commissary Toys, your satisfaction with your purchase is important to us.  We encourage you to carefully consider each purchase you make in our online store.  Internet purchases are unique from traditional means of commerce for various reasons and require special policies regarding returns of merchandise. We take great care to provide you with the best images and detailed descriptions of our merchandise, so you can make a reasonable informed purchase decision.  From time to time some items may be under construction and be missing information.  We are available to answer questions via email and phone if additional information is needed.  Please read the following information regarding the various situations that may constitute a reason to return merchandise and our policies concerning them.

Special Orders  Occassionaly customers ask us to provide a large volume of merchandise on their behalf for benefits, events, and or other large gatherings.  We are happy to provide this service and take additional time and effort to orchestrate these special request.  We refer to these as special orders and normally it requires us to order a larger volume of inventory than we would otherwise carry. There is a no return policy on these special orders.

Not Satisfied
If you change your mind about your purchase, you may return your item(s) in unused, unopened, and resalable condition within 10 days of your internet purchase for a refund of the item(s) minus the initial shipping charges.  You must also pay the shipping to return the item.    

Defective Merchandise

If you discover that your item(s) is defective, please contact us immediately.  In most cases we will resolve the problem either with the manufacture or replacing the merchandise ourselves at no additional cost to you. We understand their may be some delay between the time you receive your merchandise and the time it is actually used.  An example would be giving the merchandise as a gift at some future date.  We can only warranty our merchandise for 30 days, starting with the date that your package has arrived to your shipping destination.  After this 30 day period we assume no liability for defective merchandise, but we will make every effort to work with you and the manufacture to resolve any issues. Most of our manufactures have longer warranty periods.  

DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT
If your merchandise is damaged in shipment we must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise.  Do not discard any portion of the package.  We insure every order that is shipped UPS.  We will contact UPS to file a claim and they will conduct an investigation which normally takes a few days to complete.  If UPS agrees to pay the claim we can reship you a replacement immediately, or credit your account, whichever is mutually agreeable.  If other factors are discovered by the UPS investigation we will make every effort resolve the matter fairly on a case by case basis.  Free replacements or reimbursements will not be made if reported after 24 hours. There are no exceptions to this policy. If the original shipment was sent UPS Ground delivery all replacements will also be shipped in the same manner, unless otherwise noted.

OTHER INFORMATION
For credit card purchases, we credit the card you used for the order 3-5 business days after we receive the returned item at our warehouse. Please allow two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

If you return item(s) which received Free Shipping originally and the original order total now falls below the free shipping amount, a return restocking or handling charge will be added equal to the shipping expense we incurred in sending the original shipment.
